Well you guys know....I went to Cambodia this year as well in July(07). And of coarse it turned out very great. had some bumpy times but it was still awesome. If you guys don't know it was my first time going to Cambodia and my first time FLYING ....and flew for a quite long time as my first flight. I met some friends of mine. Most of them are from uIRC and i was impressed by how friendly they are. I was kind of overwhelmed by it. My family in cambodia treated me like royalty it was kind of awkard but i got used to it cause its similar to being the last child and i am.
Anyways when i got to cambodia, I met some folks from uIRC right at the airport, it was kind of weird but we connected really fast as soon as i stepped in the car. Then i went to KG speu. and siem reap with some close friends of mine, it was wicked, I'll just say it was a true experience. Also KG som and places around there. Prey Veng-O MA GOSH-a developing town in a developing country. Pursat Kind of scary because it was the setting of my mom's childhood during the khmer rouge period. And then last but not least Battambong. I reconnected with some very close friends of mine. and then everywhere else around cambodia i can't spell lol
My point is. Cambodia may be poor but it will always have a strong culture
